Director of Engagement

Sofy, a native New-Yorker, is thrilled to be a part of the JRP team! After graduating from Franklin & Marshall College in May 2016 with a degree in Sociology & Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies, Sofy spent a year living in Lod, Israel. There, she delighted in far too much hummus, falafel, and pita, while teaching English in a school, and working in numerous non-profit organizations. Sofy absolutely loves drinking coffee with students, chatting with students, and getting to know all things students. She loves walking tours (planned and spur of the moment), potatoes in all forms (but mostly French), Diet Coke, and puns. She is always down to explore new Philadelphia eateries, coffee shops, and neighborhoods, and would be happy to have you join her!

IACT Coordinator In Memory of Phillip Escoll

Alexa Vecchio, our IACT Coordinator, is originally from South Jersey. Alexa lives right outside of Cherry Hill and graduated from Towson University.  After graduating, Alexa spent six months living in her favorite place, Tel Aviv, teaching English to the cutest 3 year olds.  Aside from Israel, Alexa loves Dunkin, doodling, and spending time with her friends and family.  She is so excited to be part of the JRP team-- send her a friend request, she'd love to get coffee with ya!
